A FETICHE ByVali™ piece is made to last. With the right care, your leather will develop a beautiful patina over time — a quiet testament to the life it has lived alongside you. The following guidance will help you preserve the integrity and beauty of your piece for years to come.

Materials

All FETICHE ByVali™ pieces are crafted from smooth Nappa leather — a fine, supple leather known for its soft hand feel and refined finish. Interiors are lined with faux suede, chosen for its durability and luxurious touch.

Every piece is handmade to order, ensuring that the materials and construction meet our exacting standards before your piece ever leaves production.

Caring for Your Piece

  • Storage — Store your piece in a dust bag when not in use to protect it from dust, light, and moisture. Avoid storing in plastic, which can trap humidity and damage the leather.
  • Cleaning — Wipe clean with a soft, damp, lint-free cloth. For deeper cleaning, use a leather-specific conditioner sparingly. Always test on a discreet area first.
  • Sunlight & Heat — Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or heat sources, which can cause fading and drying of the leather.
  • Water — Leather is not waterproof. If your piece becomes wet, blot gently with a dry cloth and allow to air dry naturally away from heat. Do not use a hairdryer or radiator.
  • Chemical Cleaners — Avoid contact with perfume, alcohol-based products, and chemical cleaners, which can strip the leather’s natural oils and affect its finish.

Hardware

Metal hardware is best maintained by wiping with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid abrasive materials that may scratch the finish.

A Note on Patina

Over time, smooth Nappa leather will develop a natural patina — a subtle deepening of tone and texture that is unique to your piece and the way you carry it. This is not a flaw; it is the mark of a well-loved object. We consider it part of the beauty.
